Dr. Thomas Lovinggood received his Bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University in 1974. He went on to complete his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Missouri. After a one your General Practice Residency, Dr. Lovinggood attended St. Louis University where he earned his Orthodontic Certificate and Master’s Degree.
Dr. Lovingood is a certified provider of orthodontic appliances used to treat sleep apnea and loud snoring.
He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Eastern Jackson County Dental Society.
To demonstrate his desire to provide the absolute highest level of patient care, Dr. Lovinggood has voluntarily completed hundreds of additional hours of preparation to become a Board Certified Orthodontist. Only 1 in 3 orthodontists is certified. Achieving board certification is the last step in a long and intensive educational experience to ultimately provide excellent patient care.
Dr. Lovinggood is married and has two stepsons and three grandsons. He has his pilot’s license and enjoys scuba diving, tennis and hunting.
